GMac Scores Record Wave

The Guinness World Records has recognized Hawaii pro Garrett McNamara as having officially surfed the biggest wave ever caught.  The 44-year-old caught the 78-foot wave off the coast of Portugal last November.  According to Guinness World Records, McNamara’s wave beats the previous record set at Cortez Bank by Californian Mike Parsons in 2008, by a scant 1 foot.
